I have perpetual and deep frustration with the way most things function around us. It draws me to founders who are solving meaningful problems. Well-crafted solutions with high usefulness that achieve significant adoption give me joy. And if you can build a valuable company out of it, that is pure orgasm!

Investing
My sole criterion for investing: Will this happen? And I use psychology as the underlying basis to help me arrive at the answer. Conventional investing parameters carry lower relevance for me. My tools? Loose-leaf paper, wooden pencils, archival pens, whiteboards, corkboards, and clipboards. Unfortunately, Excel got ditched early on as it confined my thinking.
My investing is agnostic to stage, location, industry, and technology:
New approaches to technology and human creativity excite me a lot! I could park myself in a makeshift maker lab. And experiment and hack all the time. Over time, I realized that life itself is the best maker lab. And we need continuous experimentation to create better things and experiences.
Good startup outcomes are simple but not easy. Vision gets realized through the Passage of monomaniacal execution. Let us get together to build!

- Stage Pretty early to pretty late! I invest from the idea stage to IPO. I have invested in funding rounds from under a million to over $100 million.
- Location Near and far! Dispersion has worked out for me. My first investment was over 2,500 miles away. The average distance between my work and investments is 1,472 miles.
- Industry My classification lens focuses on the human ecosystem versus industry segmentation. Positive change in our work, home, personal, financial, social, cultural, or civic life.
- Technology I have invested in software, hardware, semiconductor, physical products, and services.
