Some observations from life's experiences:
- Intensity: Being intense is a good method to gain depth. This can be very useful. Let us say one has chosen a path to go on. You do not know if you will enjoy this later in life or if this is meaningful to you. Putting intensity early on can help decide the course. Always start strong. At least you will know whether you need to continue on the same path or take a different one. No point in wasting a part of our life on something that is not satisfying.
- Interruptions: Interruptions will always exist. Two things can prevent loss of focus. One is to choose how the interruption comes to you. And the second is to decide when. By doing these two things, one continues the non-stop focus for a good amount of time.
- Theme: Building life block-by-block sounds consistent and good. It is far better when this strategy is part of a bigger theme. If you follow the block-by-block strategy, chances are you end around average. If you follow a thematic approach, you will overshoot after some time and go into a different orbit. The higher the orbit, the better it is.
- Neutral: Being neutral with someone with whom we do not agree is good diplomacy. Some people can practice this with ease, others find it hard. Staying neutral keeps the door open in the future.
