Some observations from life's experiences:

  • Time: Passage of time heals bad experiences of the past. But it doesn't solve them. Like investing, these problems compound and become worse with time. Identify the root cause of the problems and solve them as soon as you can.​​
 
  • Battles: Decide early on which battles you want to fight. The ideal answer is none. Focus on only one thing: the vision of your life. This itself will present enough battles for you to fight. Why do you want more?

  • Improvement: Getting better at something. Improving productivity. Going into the next orbit of life. So many different names for improvement. It is hard. A four-step ladder strategy works quite well:
    • Step Zero: Acknowledgement of your current state is the true beginning. If you start this way, you won't even realize you have started the process of improvement.
    • Step One: Figuring out your why. This will make you go through difficult times.
    • Step Two: How. This is the easiest step in today's times due to information availability. But way too much media focus is on this step. 
    • Step Three: Sustenance. This one is hard. If it becomes a habit, you have achieved nirvana. And yes, I would like to learn from you. ​

  • Love: To get love, two things help. First, help others. Don't think. Do it and keep doing it. And do it much before you need help. Second, remove all barriers that prevent others from getting to understand you. Be vulnerable. There is no shame in this. You will feel at ease. And it is a profitable life strategy.
