Some observations from life's experiences:
- Stupidity: A bunch of things most of us do daily or weekly are plain stupid. There is either a better way to do them or completely avoid them. There is a simple way to prevent this from continuing. Expose your routine to others. Be it family, friends, neighbors, classmates et. al. A tremendous amount of time gets saved.
- Currency: Money is a legitimate currency. But not in the absolute true sense of life. Some of the most successful people say time is the ultimate currency. Others say it is happiness. To each their own. From observing the outliers, I have seen knowledge is the most important currency. If you know what you want to do, you will figure out the how. You will spend your time towards achieving your vision. Productivity will skyrocket. You will be happy every day despite setbacks. And money will follow. And yes, a deep satisfaction bonus awaits at the end.
- Legacy: If you wish to create a legacy, studying old cases helps. Like real old. Centuries. And unrelated ones. Most people dismiss such old history citing reasons. It is not aligned with current times. Conditions were different then. Resources and priorities varied. And so on. This is all true, but a very limiting way to look at things. Use your brain to understand these constraints. And gain uncommon insights by studying past legacies.
- Respect: Social media seems to be the place where most folks pay respect to a cause. Words do carry some weight. Actions matter far more. Do something small towards the cause you want to pay your respect. Intent is good. Talk is cheap. Actions matter. Results count. Repeatability rocks!
