Some observations from life's experiences:
- Foresight: Developing foresight is easy. Think of it as another word for point-of-view. Observe, read and talk to people. Form a point-of-view. Discuss this with friends. Refine it. Add a few things that could derail it or speed it up. And sit tight. Foresight can yield huge benefits. It is nothing but an uncanny ability to see into the future. And if you are willing to put in the effort early, you could derive amazing profits. It does take practice. And many times life will prove you wrong. One needs only a few right ones for a great life.
- Dumb: A kid in a village would always pick the 5 cent coin when given a choice between 5 cent and 10 cent coins. Villagers thought the kid was dumb. Abstract this behavior to adult life and you will discover the true motives. Act dumb with people around you and you will find out their true intentions. A very smart hack to identify the jerks around us. It works pretty much all the time. A jerk's obsession is winning against you. And a good-hearted soul will warn you.
- Clarity: Achieving clarity is super rare. One good way is to not spend too much time upfront effort on it. Start doing. And things will get clear as you travel a certain path. This will help avoid analysis paralysis.
- End: Everything has an end. But there is a secret to keep it going. Include more people with you who align to the same vision.
