Some observations from life's experiences:
- Personalize: Modifying things to suit your taste. Encourage yourself to make it a habit. It is a great way to come up with innovation. Be it in our personal or work life. These modifications may be minor. Even minor changes create big positive side-effects. Happiness is of course one of them.
- Calm: Does your inner calm get rattled now and then? Every couple of years? One way to avoid this is to execute towards a long vision. Short-term visions help one achieve "more" things. The reality is we need only one or two things to go right in our lives. So why not focus on something that takes a long time? Life will be more stable, and the downs will become bearable.
- Stupid: It is good to be stupid now and then. The sooner the better. It implies we realize that we are on the wrong path. And move fast to course correct. Have no shame when proven stupid. Another hack is to keep making a list of stupidities. And build your life to avoid these mistakes again. Or at least for a long time.
- Savings: Most of us get a slight kick when we save money. Be it shopping for clothing or a business deal. It is human nature. Saving money is good. There is something better. Saving time.
